TASSL

The Applied Software Systems Laboratory (TASSL) is a interdisciplinary research center that complements the NSF Cloud and Autonomic Computing Center (CAC), and is part of Department of Electrical and Computing Engineering and the School of Engineering at Rutgers University.  The mission of TASSLE is to develop conceptual models and implementation frameworks, based on the theoretical foundations of high performance, distributed systems and networking, for solving real-world problems on very large and pervasive distributed systems such as the national hybrid cyberinfrastructure.  Designing, developing and deploying advanced software systems is an integral part of the TASSL mission and TASSL researchers have deployed software systems such DataSpaces/DART, GrACE/MACE, CometCloud, Accord, Squid, Meteor, etc.
