Dr. Ivan Rodero awarded a Research Initiation Initiative (CRII) grant from the National Science Foundation

RDI2's Dr. Ivan Rodero was recently awarded a Research Initiation Initiative (CRII) grant from the National Science Foundation for his proposal titled "CRII: CI: Exploring Advanced Cyber-infrastructure Co-design for Big Data Analytics".

The CRII program is used to support untenured faculty or research scientists (or equivalent) in their first two years in an academic position after the PhD. Its goal is to contribute to the growth and development of future generations of scientists and engineers who will dedicate their careers to advancing research and education in the fields that CISE funds.
